eSupply Canada is an online distributor of office, janitorial, and industrial supplies. We give our
customers an alternative to the big-box retailers and ship to homes and places of business from
coast to coast to coast.

We’re looking for an entrepreneurial and growth-oriented Franchise Development Manager to
join our team and drive new franchise sales across Canada.

Reporting to the CEO, the Franchise Development Manager is responsible for achieving sales
targets and growing market share by developing and executing a franchise growth plan across
Canada. As the key consultant to our Franchisees, you will work collaboratively with Owners to
improve productivity and performance while ensuring compliance with our business and
operating standards and guidelines.

• Manages all facets of development of franchisees from lead generation, FDD disclosures,
organizing key introductions and meetings, and awarding a franchise
• Develop and execute a national franchise growth strategy
• Lead all aspects of franchising development functions, including strategic planning,
recruitment and selection, market analysis, and alternative development initiatives
• Manage the franchisee selection process, including interviewing franchise applicants and
assessing suitability through a thorough due diligence process
• Develop and execute a marketing strategy to attract franchise leads
• Build a franchise development pipeline in markets across Canada
• Use analytical skills to organize and analyze market data to prioritize potential major
markets and to assess potential new franchise development opportunities.
• Implement franchise recruitment strategies, processes, and tools to develop strong
relationships with franchise candidates and franchisees
• Direct and lead franchisees through the entire development process
• Perform other related tasks, duties and special projects as assigned

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 3-5 sales experience, preferably in franchise sales
• Ability to guide franchise prospects through the franchising process from lead
qualification to executed agreement
• Clear understanding and knowledge of Canadian franchise law
• Strategic thinking skills with the ability to balance the day-to-day tactical realities with
long-term objectives
• Working knowledge of CRM software
• Flexible, adaptive, upbeat, open, and visible work style, with a successful track record of
supporting operations leaders across a large geographically decentralized portfolio
• Dynamic and engaged leader who has a passion for empowering, inspiring, motivating,
and developing team members and franchisee relationships
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills with the ability to effectively
balance priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced, ever-changing, and highly
entrepreneurial environment

Role Type: Full-time
