Paul Dean is the VP of Business Development & Real Estate at CEFA Systems ULC, where he leads franchise recruitment, territory strategy, real estate development, and expansion across Canada and the United States. His career has been embedded in enabling growth…both personal and organizational. With experience spanning banking, multi-unit development, legal and infrastructure strategy, Paul focuses on building the foundations that allow businesses to scale with clarity and confidence.

Paul daSilva has 40 years in commercial lending — including 31 years dedicated to the franchise sector — CFA Board Director — Paul has helped nearly 25,000+ franchisees and / or independently owned businesses across Canada. Known for structuring cash flow lending for multi-unit operators and designing credit frameworks that support sustainable brand growth, Paul brings rare depth of market insight. Today, he focuses on mentoring lenders, franchisors, and emerging brands, helping them align capital, risk, and strategy to build resilient, scalable franchise systems.

Cailin White is fortunate to have been able to follow her passion for the restaurant industry for more than 20 years now. Her career began in Operations and Training in the QSR sector and from there, into Franchise Development. Today, in her role with Boston Pizza, she has the privilege of helping entrepreneurs achieve their goals and proud to be a part of Canada’s #1 casual dining brand.

Daniel Allicock is a franchising and real estate professional with extensive experience in franchise development, site selection, and national brand growth. He currently serves as Franchise Sales Manager at Global Pet Foods, where he supports the company’s expansion by identifying and onboarding strong franchise partners—a role inspired by his personal passion for pet health and the brand’s values.
