Barrie, ON Park Gets A Little Help From Friends

50 volunteers from PropertyGuys.com lent a hand to help improve Heritage Park

Over 40 volunteers gathered in Heritage Park last week to help prepare the waterfront location for summer visitors. Adding a fresh coat of paint to the gazebo, weeding the flower beds and planting new blooms were the main tasks at hand for the enthusiastic crew from PropertyGuys.com. The company was hosting their annual Sales Summit just outside of Barrie and wanted to give back to the local community while they were in town.

Franchise owners from across the country as well as their Home Office team gathered to spruce up the park last Wednesday afternoon. Even Mayor Lehman stopped by to remark on the group’s positive impact.

“We make it a priority to give back as much as we can,” explained President and CEO, Ken LeBlanc. “It is important to us to take action to improve all of communities where our franchisees call home – whether that’s through supporting youth entrepreneurship, collaborating with other local businesses or helping to clean up a park that is beloved by residents. Wherever and whenever we can lend a hand, we do so with passion!”

“It was amazing to have a big PropertyGuys.com team here in Barrie,” explained Connor Giblett, local franchise owner. “I couldn’t be happier with how the team and the city came together to freshen up the park. Special thanks to Mayor Lehman and the City of Barrie’s Parks team who allowed us to contribute to the park. Now families and anyone seeking a break this summer can enjoy an even better waterfront,” he added.
