Driverseat Opens in Kingston

Grand opening celebration takes place this week

Kitchener, Ontario – Driverseat is pleased to announce the opening of a new franchise in Kingston Ontario. The business, launched September 1st by co-owners Paul Tremlett and Donna Nelham, will celebrate with a Grand Opening over three days, September 21st to 23rd.

“Kingston is the first of two locations they will be operating,” says Brian Bazely, Co-founder and CEO Driverseat Inc. “We are delighted with the business experience and leadership strengths they bring to this market.”

The Grand Opening kicks off at the Chamber of Commerce Connect Event Thursday at the KRock Centre. For the three days following, customers can enjoy Designated Driving services for free, and get home, in the comfort of their own car, at no charge. In addition, customers will have a chance to win major prizes including free airport chauffeur services and a Prince Edward County wine tour with private chauffeur. In total, over $2000 worth of prizes will be given away.

“We love the concept, and that is why we climbed aboard,” explained Nelham, “Driverseat is an innovative transportation business with a social mission to help end impaired driving, while offering affordable designated driver and chauffeur services to fit any need.”

Tremlett adds, “Our goal is to build capacity in peoples’ lives relative to their mobility needs. I am confident that once someone uses our service, they will become a customer for life.”

The Kingston franchise offers four services: Designated Drivers, Airport Chauffeurs, Assisted Transport (for seniors and students) and Vehicle Chauffeurs.

“Our locally-based and qualified drivers (Coachmen) drive our customers wherever they need to go, in the comfort of their own vehicles,” Tremlett states. “At times, it is best to allow others to do the driving, and now Driverseat Kingston makes it an easy choice.”

Designated Driver services can be booked through the Driverseat app. The mobile app allows customers to see where the Coachman is located, monitor progress towards the pick-up location; pay for the service and even rate the Coachman on the service. Customers can also connect with Paul or Donna to arrange pre-booked services (Airport Chauffeur / Assisted Transport/Special Events) by calling or emailing.

“We are building a terrific team of qualified drivers, Coachmen and Coachwomen, from the community,” Nelham adds. “This is a great way to work flexible hours, deliver valued services and make a meaningful difference, while earning extra income,” As market awareness increases, Driverseat Kingston expects to create 40 part-time jobs to service this franchise location.
