MaidPro Airdrie Wins the Airdrie Chamber’s Franchise Business Award

MaidPro, a leading residential cleaning franchise, is pleased to announce that our Airdrie location in Alberta, Canada, recently won the first ever Franchise Business Award from the Airdrie Chamber of Commerce.

MaidPro Airdrie was the first recipient of this new award. The Chamber plans to present the award each year to a franchise business in Airdrie that “best reflects the outstanding spirit and success of our business community, has demonstrated significant achievement within the last three years and has contributed to community activities and professional associations, according to the Chamber’s website.

The award was presented to David Buckler, owner of MaidPro Airdrie and MaidPro Calgary, at an awards gala held at the Bert Church Theatre in Airdrie.

Buckler, a long-time Calgary resident, opened the Airdrie location in 2009, and has committed himself and his staff to improving the lives of every person they touch. They’re fans of the thriving community in Airdrie, just being a few minutes north of Calgary, and they appreciate the small-town values with big-city amenities—much like the MaidPro business model.

MaidPro is a Boston-based franchisor of house cleaning services with over 275 locations in 38 states, the District of Columbia, and Canada. The company, which began franchising in 1997, takes pride in its strong owner community, cutting-edge technology, and creative marketing. It has been honored with the Franchise Business Review’s Four-Star Rating and Franchise 50 awards every year from 2006 to 2019 for owner satisfaction. Forbes has named MaidPro a Top Franchise to Own in 2015, 2016, and 2018. MaidPro was named one of the Top 50 Franchises for Minorities by USA Today’s Franchising Today. MaidPro is also a proud member of the International Franchise Association, Canadian Franchise Association, and the New England Franchise Association. The company can be found online at
