Compared to 2024, Metal Supermarkets achieved a 14.7% sales increase, marking its 12th straight year of record-breaking revenue. This sales increase was driven by a 5.3% increase in invoice count and a 16.8% increase in digital sales. Additionally, 71 Metal Supermarkets stores earned an NPS of 90% or above on a three-month basis, bringing the year-end NPS to 87%, indicating a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty across Metal Supermarkets stores.
“We are incredibly proud of our franchisees, whose dedication, hard work and commitment to customer satisfaction helped us reach record-breaking achievements in 2025,” said Ryan Pryznyk, President and CEO of Metal Supermarkets. “As we head into 2026, Metal Supermarkets is well-positioned to build on this success as we continue to deliver greater value to our customers, while expanding to provide the same great service in new markets.”
In 2025, Metal Supermarkets opened 11 new stores across the United States and Canada: Manchester, NH; Delray Beach, FL; San Antonio, TX; Melbourne, FL; Akron, OH; Monroeville, PA; Columbia, SC; Huntsville, AL; Hartford, CT; Worcester, MA; and Bridgeport, CT. With the network total now at over 140 stores, including 4 stores that opened in January, Metal Supermarkets’ growth will continue in 2026 with over 11 stores in its development pipeline.
Additionally, 2025 marked Metal Supermarkets’ fourth-annual Trade School Scholarship, which was awarded to four post-secondary trades students across North America. The scholarship was launched in 2022 to commemorate National Welding Month and to encourage more students to pursue a career in the vital trades industry, which is facing a shortage of qualified workers. The 2025 Trade School Scholarship was awarded to:
- Bryce Bain – Norman, OK
- Kristina Glasow – Simpsonville, SC
- Jackson Owens – Spicer, MN
- Jadea Smith – Eganville, ON
In addition to supporting the next generation of skilled trades professionals, Metal Supermarkets also announced its revamped Metal My Way contest, which celebrates the versatility and craftsmanship of metalworking, fabricating and design. Now called Metal My Way: Everyday, the 11th annual contest is now accepting entries from metal enthusiasts around the world for a full 12 months instead of the previous one-month entry period.
Following another year of strong performance, Metal Supermarkets is well-positioned to continue its growth, building on a strong foundation of operational excellence, customer loyalty and sustained demand for quality metals. Known for its convenience, efficiency, product variety and dedication to quality customer service, the company will continue to focus on enhancing the customer experience while expanding into additional North American markets in 2026.
