Pita Pit, one of Canada’s premier purveyors of pita sandwiches, salads and rice bowls, has opened its newest location in Brockville, Ont. at 7713 Kent Boulevard, just a short drive from Kingston, where the brand was founded 30 years ago. Located at the intersection of HWY 401 and Stewart Blvd., the new Pita Pit offers everything the brand is known for – the widest selection of pita sandwiches, salads and rice bowls made with premium quality ingredients – as well as smoothies, snacks and a variety of freshly made and gluten-free choices.
“Each opening is special, but this one is extra special,” said Chris Cann, Brand Leader at Pita Pit. “Our roots run deepest in the Kingston region, and we couldn’t be happier to open in Brockville. This is his sixth location with Pita Pit, and it’s great to see him continue to grow with us.”
Over the past 30 years, Pita Pit has become one of the continent’s most famous pita-focused quick-service restaurant chains, offering delicious pitas, as well as healthier alternatives. The “build-your-own pita” experience continues to be a fan-favourite and remains the cornerstone of Pita Pit’s offering. Over the past years, the brand has expanded its catering services, delivering platters that include a variety of fresh pitas, crisp salads, and delicious sides, all prepared to make any event effortless and enjoyable.
“Brockville is a beautiful city with a strong sense of community, and I’m proud to launch the banner in Brockville,” said Amitkumar Prajapati, the local Pita Pit franchisee and operator. “My team and I look forward to serving our neighbours and visitors with healthy and flavourful options.”
Founded on July 21, 1995, in Kingston, Ontario, Pita Pit has grown from a single storefront into a global franchise with 229 Canadian locations and a presence in international markets.
The new store will employ approximately 10 team members. The closest Pita Pit locations are in Gananoque, and Kingston, respectively 51 and 76 kilometres away.
