Stagecoach Canada Shines on the Global Stage at Disneyland Paris’ Dance the Dream Event

Stagecoach Performing Arts Canada recently returned from an unforgettable journey to Disneyland Paris, where 47 talented students from Stagecoach schools across the country took part in the prestigious Dance the Dream event from July 24–27. Joined by nearly 200 proud family members, these young performers represented the heart and soul of Canadian creativity on an international stage.

From coast to coast, Stagecoach students united to experience the magic of Disney in a way few ever do. Alongside 669 Stagecoach performers from around the world, the Canadian students had the honour of opening the Disneyland Paris park with a breathtaking vocal performance in front of Sleeping Beauty’s Castle—a moment exclusive to Stagecoach schools. They also dazzled crowds as part of the Disney Pre-Parade, dancing down Main Street U.S.A., embodying the joy and energy of live performance.

“This was more than just a performance—it was a transformational experience,” said Tosha Doiron, Principal of Stagecoach Mississauga and Oakville who attended the event. “Our students grew in confidence, creativity, and courage. They saw firsthand what it means to be part of a global performing arts community.”

Beyond the spotlight, students were given rare behind-the-scenes access to Disney Performing Arts, gaining insight into the professional world of entertainment—from choreography and storytelling to the discipline and teamwork that bring Disney magic to life.

While the Disney Pre-Parade is open to select performing arts schools worldwide, the Castle performance and Gala Dinner are exclusive to Stagecoach, underscoring the brand’s commitment to providing exceptional, world-class opportunities for its students.
