CFA Franchisee of the Year Awards – Celebrating Franchisee Excellence
The CFA Franchisee of the Year Awards honour exceptional franchisees who exemplify excellence, leadership, business success, and community involvement within their franchise system. Awards are presented in two award categories:
- Traditional– for franchisees operating in a standard retail or service location
- Non-Traditional– for franchisees operating in non-conventional settings (e.g., kiosks, mobile units, institutional sites)

Key Information
- Participation is free!
- Open exclusively to CFA members in good standing at the time of submission and award presentation.
- Franchisors may nominate one franchisee per brand
- Nominees must be part of the franchise system for at least two years.
- Joint owners may be recognized as a team under this program.
- Submissions now open
- Submissions Deadline: Thursday, December 31, 2026
- Recipients will be recognized at the CFA Gala Awards Dinner during the 2027 CFA National Convention, on Sunday, April 18, at the Sheraton Fallsview in Niagara Falls, Ontario
- The top three recipients in each category (Traditional and Non-Traditional) will be recognized.
