Do you have any advice for current CFE participants or those looking to get started? 

Attend as many events as you can and talk to as many people as you can! The industry is packed with knowledge and people who want to support newcomers!

What inspired you to join the CFE program? 

My entry into franchising came via the world of private and public health. The success that I had in those 17 years can directly be attributed to the foundation of education and experience that I so actively sought. Moving into this new world, I knew that I needed to repeat my approach and immerse myself in the industry, its events and its education. 

What does having your CFE Designation mean to you? 

Achieving the CFE designation signifies and validates the successful transition I have made into a “new to me” industry. It brings me great pride to join this incredibly intelligent and driven community and to now be able to call them my peers.

What has been the most challenging part of obtaining your designation? 

The most challenging part of obtaining the designation was the commitment to attending conferences all over North America. That said, they are a lot of fun
