If you had any doubt about the ground that women have lost during the pandemic, here’s a reality check. The Annual Report Card on Gender Diversity and Leadership presents the only study of its kind with the largest-ever number of organizations looking at women’s representation. The recently launched 2023 edition shows some alarming results. Women’s representation in Pipeline to Senior Management roles has declined by 11.9 percentage points since last year. This significant drop should be concerning to organizations.

And as representation of women in leadership roles is in jeopardy, it is even more so for women with an intersecting identity (racialized, Indigenous, living with disabilities or 2SLGBTQIA+).
