These events offer the opportunity for women in the franchise space to learn from each other and tackle pressing topics for women in business. These small, facilitated discussion groups will create a safe, private, and trust-filled environment in which to discuss a range of topics related to women in franchising, build relationships, and strengthen connections.
The CFA’s Certified Franchise Executive (CFE) Program has Officially Launched with the Canadianized Fran-Guard Course!

The Canadian Franchise Association’s (CFA) Fran-Guard course is based on the International Franchise Association’s (IFA) Fran-Guard program and is a mandatory component of the CFE Program. This course was created to safeguard your franchise by having your key employees fully trained on the franchise sales management and compliance process. It gives you the tools to manage your compliance program and avoid costly mistakes that can potentially wreck your franchise system.
Registration for the Fran-Guard course is available for CFA Members and Non-Members who are enrolled to CFA’s CFE Program.
If you have not yet enrolled to CFA’s CFE Program, you can do so by submitting your application form to education@cfa.ca.
