The Franchise Tutoring System That Makes a Real Difference

Since opening its first location in London, Ontario, in 1984, hundreds of thousands of Canadian families have turned to Oxford Learning to help their children overcome school and learning struggles and get better grades.

In the four decades since opening the first location, Oxford Learning has grown to over 140 locations across Canada. Using a cognitive learning model for all programs, Oxford Learning helps students develop new and better pathways to learning. Oxford Learning students become successful because the program model builds individual thinking skills so that students can think more efficiently, learn more effectively, grow their confidence and get better grades.

Unlike traditional tutoring, a cognitive approach leads to lasting educational changes. This shift in the approach to after-school tutoring makes Oxford Learning stand out from other supplemental education options, and this difference resonates with parents, students, and franchisees.

A lot has changed since the first location, but one thing that has remained constant is the mission to help students realize their full potential. This steadfast mission at the core of every Oxford Learning location helps franchisees become successful business owners in their communities.
