Canadians Are Excited to Travel Again!

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, quarantine constraints, and social distancing restrictions, Canadians were forced to stay indoors for almost two years. Unfortunately, the travel industry took a big hit during this period of isolation; however, there has been a sharp growth in sales within the last several months as pandemic restrictions are eased throughout Canada.

Travel Industry Storms Back Post-Pandemic 
Since the beginning of 2022, more Canadians have become comfortable with the idea of traveling abroad. According to Statistics Canada, the number of Canadian travelers tripled in January 2022, compared to January 2021. However, when compared to the average number of travelers in January of 2020, the 2022 travelers were only a third of Jan 2020 travelers. This means that the travel industry is on a continual upwards trend.   Investing in a franchise within this industry will provide you with valuable financial growth – in part, due to the number of vaccinated Canadians and lifted restrictions.
