TORONTO, ON, September 27, 2017 – Baskin-Robbins, the world’s largest chain of specialty ice cream shops, opens a new location at 9960 Dufferin St, corner of Major MacKenzie Drive, in Vaughan, Ontario. The ice cream shop, a delicious combination of Baskin-Robbins Ice Cream and Kernels Extraordinary Popcorn, is owned and operated by twin sisters, Ying and Sanye Liu.
“Like millions of consumers each day, we chose Baskin-Robbins because of the assortment of flavours they offer, the strength of the brand and the support they provide to franchise partners like my sister and I,” said Sanye Liu.
New to the franchise world, the sisters chose the location due to the boom in residential and commercial properties in the surrounding area. “The location is perfect,” said Ying Liu. “We love Vaughan and know the city is growing rapidly. Being near residential communities allows us to not only serve delicious treats, but also put a smile on the faces of the members of our community, and those who come to visit.”
The new Baskin-Robbins/Kernels shop offers an always-evolving roster of 31 ice cream flavours, custom cakes made in-store, milkshakes in any flavour combination, and an array of frozen treats with the added twist of perfectly popped Kernels Popcorn in a variety of amazing fun flavours.
