New zone structure and revolutionary performance platform aims to drive franchise profitability.
April 23, 2018 // Franchising.com // HAMILTON, ON – CARSTAR is proud to be launching its new operations and sales structure across Canada with a renewed focus on driving network and partner success.
Operating under a zone structure now, CARSTAR has proportionate support for each region it serves across Canada. Improving the amount of touch points with franchise partners has proven to have a direct effect on franchise profitability, as stores access their trusted point of contact as needed.
The operations team is also now equipped with a new tool, the CARSTAR EDGE Performance Platform. CARSTAR formalized its leading researched and tested practices into a replicable program that the operations team can rely on. Franchise profitability, vehicles through the facility and operational improvements (demonstrated through key performance indicators) all improved with the implementation of EDGE.
“As a former CARSTAR franchise partner, I used to receive a lot of store data and reports on KPIs, but would have been grateful for additional guidance on execution for improvements,” says Jeff Labanovich, Head of Canadian Operations, CARSTAR. “Boosting ‘feet on the street’ to improve support for stores, realigning regions that needed a larger footprint and deploying EDGE across Canada will provide our network with the premier service they need to enter new levels of success.”
Working in lockstep with these operational changes, the sales and operations teams who support insurance agreements across Canada have also realigned to a zone structure, Western Canada, Ontario, Quebec and Atlantic Canada. Additionally, CARSTAR has brought in new members, solely focused on performance analytics. These new resources will provide additional insights into store operations and insurance partner success, which the sales team can then use to cultivate its relationships.
“Focus on providing customized plans for each store to ensure we uphold our national agreements will be the main objective for the CARSTAR sales team, as they now have the metrics and reporting needed to demonstrate its value to current and new insurance providers,” says John Harvey, Vice President of Sales, CARSTAR. “The operations and sales teams are completely aligned in their commitment to franchise profitability, and I am incredibly proud of our network and cannot wait to see these programs launch our stores into a new frontier of success.”
