This past November, Frank Robinson, a franchise lawyer and partner of Cassels Brock & Blackwell LLP, was named one of Lexpert “Rising Stars: Leading Lawyers Under 40.” The recipients of the award, which pays tribute to the future leaders of the Canadian legal community, were announced in Toronto during a gala dinner hosted by Lexpert and The Globe and Mail. Lexpert is a Thomson Reuters media outlet for news and information about the business of law.
Frank Robinson was honoured for his experience as a leading domestic and international franchise lawyer, working on behalf of some of the most well-known franchising companies in the market, and for his contributions to the Franchise Law community, including co-chairing the Canadian Franchise Association’s Law Day and acting as co-editor of the International Journal of Franchising Law.
Cassels Brock & Blackwell LLP has been a member of the Canadian Franchise Association (CFA) since 1997. The firm is an active participant of the Association, with representatives volunteering as speakers at CFA events, contributors to CFA publications, and as members of the CFA Board of Directors and various committees.
