Doughbox London franchisees help send seven children to YMCA camps

Doughbox London made a sweet donation to the Stoney Creek branch of YMCA for the Fill the Bus CAMPaign, this July by donating $1,500 to send seven local children to the YMCA’s summer camp for one week, and offering all campers a free dessert item during their camp stay. Mayank Sood and Vinny Sood, franchisees of the local Doughbox, who also own a local Dairy Queen, announced the donation at a special event held July 12 at the Stoney Creek YMCA.

In addition to the cheque donation, the franchisees will provide a choice of one Dairy Queen ice cream cone or Doughbox Garlic Parmesan bites to all campers.

YMCA camps offer kids the opportunity to live healthy, active lives, and participate in new outdoor adventures. These experiences encourage children out of their comfort zone to learn lots of new skills, as well as provide them a sense of belonging and social connection.

Open in London since  November 2023, Doughbox offers hungry guests the art of wood-fired pizza and pasta, homemade sauces, premium ingredients and a dedication to bringing a restaurant experience to the quick service environment.  With a warm and welcoming atmosphere and an open concept kitchen, guests are taken on a culinary journey where they experience the rich heritage of Italian pizza and pasta.  The menu goes beyond pizza and pasta and includes wings, fresh salad bowls and desserts as well as a wide assortment of catering options.
