On May 31, DoughBox, the wood-fired pizza and pasta specialists, opened its first location in Woodbridge, Ontario. Located at the intersection of Highway 27 and Langstaff Road, the location features an open-concept kitchen, dine-in seating for up to 50 people, and a menu that includes homemade, hand-tossed pastas, wood-fired pizzas, and wings, plus fresh salad bowls and desserts.
“Woodbridge today, perhaps Bologna or Rome tomorrow?” muses Tony Visca, CEO and co-founder of DoughBox. “We’re delighted to put down roots in one of the epicentres of Italian culture and food in Canada. We’re confident our guests will appreciate our hand-tossed and wood-fired pizzas or pastas on the go, without sacrificing quality or care.”
The growing restaurant chain now includes 13 locations and is scheduled to open at least 3 more by the end of the year.
