Located at 2273 Saskatchewan Ave West, MR MIKES® Portage la Prairie officially opened its doors on Friday, January 24, 2020. The opening marks the franchise’s 45th national location, and its fourth Manitoba location, with additional operations throughout British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Ontario.
The franchisee behind the Portage la Prairie location is Stan Killam. Stan has been a member of the community for over 40 years and has a strong understanding of the local market. His extensive business experience spans more than 30 years in the hospitality and automotive industries. “We can’t wait to introduce MR MIKES® to the Portage market,” said Stan. “The come as you are atmosphere will be welcomed by everyone, where guests can enjoy a menu that has something for everyone including Canada AAA steaks, Mikeburgers, salads and pastas.”
