At the ServiceMaster International Convention held earlier this month in Phoenix, Arizona, the ServiceMaster family of brands recognized the top performing franchises for their efforts and contributions in 2016. The most prestigious award of the evening, the Marion E. Wade Award of Honour, named after the company founder, is presented annually to the franchise that led the network in all aspects of performance, including customer service, growth, sales, operations and employee development.
This year, the Marion E. Wade Award of Honour went to ServiceMaster Restore of Edmonton. Owners Grant and Shelley Miller along with some of their key staff were in attendance to accept the award. “It’s a privilege to earn this distinction,” said Grant Miller. “But honestly, we owe our success to the people that work for us and our loyal customers.” ServiceMaster Restore of Edmonton experienced incredible growth in sales over the previous year which can be attributed to focusing on large commercial restoration projects and their unmatched presence in Fort McMurray from the catastrophic wildfires.
Stephan Roy, National Director of ServiceMaster Restore of Canada, presented the award and praised the Millers for their leadership. “It is well deserved. They have built a great team, with a strong, steady focus on growth during their 15 years of business. It’s the right combination for this winning franchise and for delivering an industry-leading experience to our customers.”
There were other Canadian franchises that were also recognized for their contributions at the Convention. Congratulations goes to the winners of the 2016 President’s Cabinet Award:
