Wendy’s® Apologizes to Canadians for Potential Local Mushroom Shortage

TORONTOOct. 15, 2018 /CNW/ – Canadians could find themselves experiencing a potential local mushroom shortage, and it’s for the best reason ever. Wendy’s® is bringing back its in-demand, fan-favourite Bacon Portabella Mushroom Melt for a limited time only.

With rich portabellas and a melty cheese sauce, the hamburger features Applewood smoked bacon and fresh, never frozen Canadian beef. The limited-edition sandwich has remained in high demand over the years with fans counting down its comeback, and it’s finally here.
