From franchisee to owner and chairman of Boston Pizza International Inc, Jim Treliving has found true entrepreneurial success through franchising. Treliving was the first franchise-owner within the Boston Pizza system, opening his first restaurant in Penticton, B.C. He moved on to owning a total of 16 Boston Pizza restaurants before buying the company and becoming franchisor in 1983.
