The franchise community has stepped up to give back during the COVID-19 crisis. Here we provide a closer look at these initiatives through social media posts shared by Canadian franchises and support services/suppliers.
Supporting Local Restaurants
Now, while most of the city self-isolates, small and independently-owned food joints aren’t getting the traffic that’s necessary to keep them afloat. To support those spots, BUILD IT By Design is placing large orders from these eateries and sending them to frontline emergency workers at hospitals in the GTA.
We’re excited to lunch a new initiative to support our local #Restuarants by placing large food orders and delivering them across #Toronto hospitals to support front-line workers starting with @SinaiHealth Tuesday and @THP_hospital following week – more TBA pic.twitter.com/2iVU4Wzgdc
