Laser Clinics Celebrates the Opening of its Sixth Location in Toronto at Union Station

Global leaders in advanced beauty celebrate their new location within Canada’s busiest transportation hub

Laser Clinics, the largest cosmetic clinics group, celebrated yesterday the official opening of its sixth clinic in Canada, located in the Front Street Promenade at Toronto’s newly designed retail hub at Union Station. The opening celebration included over 100 customers ready to receive free treatments and complimentary consultations.

“This location is a milestone for Laser Clinics Canada and a testament to the positive response we’ve seen from our Canadian clientele to our first locations,” says Neil Lake, global CEO of Laser Clinics. “To meet the growing demand, we have made a commitment to accelerating expansion efforts and are actively looking for franchisees for over 26 locations in Ontario and across Canada. With great partners, we look forward to continuing to deliver on our mission to help more people feel confident in their own skin and make medically-backed treatments more accessible to Canadians.”

Laser Clinics Canada has plans to open a new location in the Greater Toronto Area this winter and to enter the British Columbia market in the coming year.

“Since our entrance into the Canadian market in February 2022, we’ve enjoyed an outstanding response from our clients,” said Jenna Caira, interim managing director for Laser Clinics Canada. “In under two years, we’ve not only opened five locations in the GTA and one in Ottawa, but we’ve also secured a Canadian-based Medical Director, welcomed our first franchise co-owner and continue to expand our partnerships with outstanding vendors such as Galderma and Allergan, who helped us put on a fantastic celebration last night in Toronto.”

The downtown Toronto location is a corporately owned clinic and is now available for franchising as part of the brand’s award-winning 50/50 franchise business model where the business and co-owner share equally in the investment, expenses and profits of the clinic.

The official opening highlighted the many medical-grade services available at Laser Clinics locations. The company offered an array of exclusive offers to the first guests to arrive including complimentary Microdermabrasion 5-step treatment voucher cards to 100 guests, free onsite sessions of Laser Hair Removal Underarm and LED Yellow Light Therapy treatments, in addition to complimentary consultations with its Nurse Injector.

“I am delighted to be a part of the expansion of Laser Clinics in Canada,” says Natasha Gargiulo, brand ambassador for Laser Clinics Canada, who was onsite to host the grand opening celebration. “It was an exciting day being able to help educate customers, partners and supporters on the importance of quality, professional care, and celebrating each person’s individuality through personalized treatments.”

Laser Clinics Canada’s mission is to democratize beauty to allow more Canadians to have greater access to these medical-grade treatments performed by its certified Medical Aestheticians and Medical Professionals, with safety as a top priority.

Dr. Waqqas Jalil, a respected plastic surgeon based in Toronto and Laser Clinics Canada’s Medical Director, shared insights and information with guests. Dr. Jalil oversees the network’s protocols and services in the advanced beauty space, ensuring that safety and innovation remain at the forefront of the medical aesthetics treatments offered by the company.

“Laser Clinics’ mission of providing access to high-quality medical-grade treatments and well-trained medical aestheticians and professionals is needed across Canada,” says Dr. Jalil. “Thanks to the support we’re getting from our international colleagues, partners and Canadian team, our Medical Advisory Committee is confident that safety is and will remain a top priority.”

Laser Clinics entered the Canadian market in February 2022 and currently has six locations in Ontario. These locations include Hillcrest Mall in Richmond Hill, Square One in Mississauga, Sherway Gardens in Etobicoke, Scarborough Town Centre in Scarborough, Rideau Centre in Ottawa, and Union Station in downtown Toronto.

Union Station continues its transformation to revitalize the historic space into a retail and events destination serving over 300,000 Canadian customers, commuters and tourists combined daily. Laser Clinics Canada is one of eight exciting brands to join the retail hub in the recent months and is a welcomed addition to over 61 unique and enticing local, national and international brands now open for business in the retail destination.
