Canada’s leading franchise systems named ahead of March awards celebration
Elite Franchise has officially announced the shortlist for the 2026 Elite Franchise Top 100 Canada (EF100) Awards, recognizing the franchise systems that are driving performance, innovation, and leadership across the Canadian franchising sector.
Now entering its second year, the EF100 has rapidly become a definitive marker of excellence for franchise brands operating in Canada. The 2026 shortlist highlights organizations that are not only delivering strong commercial results, but are also investing in franchisee success, community impact, and future-focused growth strategies.

Shortlisted brands were selected following a comprehensive evaluation by a cross section of judges that included franchise experts from across the country. Assessments focused on operational strength, franchisee engagement, innovation, sustainability, and long-term business outlook across a wide range of industries.
An Expanded Awards Program for 2026
Reflecting the continued evolution of the franchising sector, the 2026 EF100 Awards program features twelve category awards, including several new additions. This year introduces Rising Star of the Year, Highest New Entry of the Year, and the People’s Choice Award, broadening the scope of recognition and celebrating excellence at every stage of franchise growth.
